We have an incredible update for you: together, we've raised $78,700 in 7 days! We are about 20 percent of the way toward our goal of raising $400,000 in 100 days, and our 4 by 100 Fundraiser has only just begun.

Our friends at the North Valley Community Foundation have showed their support for our fundraising efforts by granting us $50,000 from their COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund. We also received $20,000 from an anonymous local resident with a donor-advised fund at NVCF, and an additional $8,700 from community members who have donated directly to us.

Why is this fundraiser so important? Our demand for shelter services is increasing, and at the same time, we are facing a budget crunch exacerbated by the lack of fundraising opportunities we have had during the COVID-19 pandemic. With your help, we will be able to continue to assist the city and our community partners in our joint efforts to address homelessness.

The donations we received this week will go a long way and positively impact the lives of hundreds of individuals experiencing homelessness, as well as our staff. The positive ripple effect for our community is powerful.

On behalf of the team at True North, I want to sincerely thank you for your generous support! I know many of you have already donated to this fundraiser, and it means so much to us. Please continue to show your support by sharing the news of our fundraiser with your friends, family and colleagues.

If you haven't contributed yet, don't worry, you can still join the cause: here's the link to our donate page.

We are so thankful for our amazing community! Please stay tuned for our announcement of community events. We can't wait to see you!

Best,

Taylor Storey
