How to Help
Teacher Mark Friedman and his 4th grade students from Marigold Elementary School donate 2,000 pairs of socks to help keep Torres Shelter guests warm this winter.
At True North Housing Alliance, we serve single adults, seniors, and families with children who all have a wide variety of needs. Please see the list of items below that we are always accepting as donations, and thank you for your generosity!
DROP OFF DETAILS: All of the following donations, unless otherwise specified, can be dropped of at 101 Silver Dollar Way in Chico between the hours of 9am and 3pm daily. For large donations, please call ahead to arrange a drop off time: (530) 891-9048, ext. 817
Bedding:
pillows
twin bed sheet sets (no queen or king)
blankets
bath towels
laundry & hygiene:
laundry detergent (liquid or sheets, preferably non-scented)
shampoo (large bottles preferred)
body wash (large bottles preferred)
kitchen:
kitchen towels
large tupperware/food storage containers
10-gallon and 45-gallon clear bags, and 55-gallon black bags
medicine:
Ibuprofen
Tylenol
Clothing:
