Permanent Supportive Housing

Permanent Supportive Housing builds independent living and tenancy skills for those who need a hand up on their journey to permanent housing on their own.

With True North Housing Alliance, participants pay part of their income to rent and receive additional support when needed. This affordable housing program connects participants with community-based health care, financial assistance and employment services.

Getting people housed when they are homeless can be a challenging task. Many of the individuals True North serves have evictions on their record, are low-income, and face other barriers that make it difficult to find a place to rent.

Despite those challenges, however, True North’s permanent supportive housing program continues to grow. Our team is dedicated to our mission, and continues to help those experiencing homelessness in Butte County move forward.
